- Heterodox: outside the usual standards or beliefs.
- Insularity: a lack of interest in other cultures.
- MIDI: (musical instrument digital interface) a standard for connecting and using electronic instruments.
- Parochialism: narrow-minded or limited outlook.
- Perspicacity: ready insight and shrewdness.
- Portentous: of momentous significance.
- Noosphere: a stage of evolutionary development concerning consciousness, the mind, and relationships.
- Phylogenetic: related to the evolutionary development of organisms.
- Rend: tear something to pieces
- Rent: a large tear in fabric.
- Splenetic: spiteful and bad-tempered.
- Solipsism: the belief all that can be known to exist is the self.
- Terminus: the last stop of a rail/bus route.
